According to the official announcement of the European Union, on June 7, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2024/1611, approving Isomaltulose Powder as a new type of food to be placed on the market in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and revising the annex to the Commission's Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470. This regulation shall come into effect on the 20th day from the date of its publication.
